The AHS Band Holiday Concert is on 12/13 at 7:00 PM
Call Time is 6:00 PM
This event will be held in the main auditorium at AHS.

Summer Heat

Summer Practice is always tough on kids….especially if they have been sitting inside in the AC playing video games for the last several weeks.

AHS Band Chalkboard
Look in this area to see the latest crucial updates and changes from the band directors’ chalkboard in the band hall. This could be a schedule change, a call time for a football game or any other information that the band members and their families need quickly.

Welcome to the New Arlington High School Colt Band Web Site!
There have been some changes from the past site.
To start with there is a new Documents section so students and parents can go to it and download files that they need at any time. This section will probably have expanded pages down the road but for now the Documents page has a download and file browse view for those of you familiar with categorized files.
Secondly, parents requested a calendar view for events and an event list instead of the old mini calendar. We now have both with the most recent five events displaying and a series of calendar views that will show the overall section or specific calendar category. You can still download the calendar pdf if you prefer, it’s in the Documents section.
Another big change is the Chalkboard. The AHS Band Directors asked for a way to communicate with students and parents quickly in case there are changes to the schedule or important issues. The Chalkboard exists for that purpose alone.
News will be broken in to categories. This will make it easier to add it and to organize it across the site. The most recent news will still be on the front of the site.
We also have a countdown clock that will show from time to time to remind students of important events.
Weather is updated from the weather channel.
Look too see new areas pop up on the site as the content grows. When the next newsletter comes out you will be able to download it from this site.
